Skinz is now offering the Helium hood in a new finish option!
This is called the Laminated/Wrap hood. It is a hood formed with a protective film on the surface making it a great option for people who will wrap their hoods or want a lower cost option. It is a softer surface and will scuff easier but it is suitable for wrapping which will provide a durable surface.
It can be used without a wrap but users should be aware it will scuff easier and it is not as hard as a urethane surface.
It is a great solution for customers who would like a Helium hood but are needing an economical solution.

Air Intake hoods
Helium Guzzler Hoods
Skinz is now offering options for Air Intake hoods. These are Helium hoods which have the upper sections of the hood fitted with a cold air intake providing cold air directly into the engine.
“Guzzler” is the Naturally Aspirated intake for all N/A machines. The kit includes everything needed to direct air into the intake plenum under the hood. The machine will still have the option of using the OEM air intakes along with the Skinz cold air intake on the Helium hood making bogging nearly impossible. The engine will always have cold air availability. The hood comes with the intake already installed and the kit will include all item needed for a complete installation.
“Guzzler Turbo” is the option for the Matryx Turbo machines and/or aftermarket offerings. The hood will come already assembled with the intake kit on the hood. The kit will include HPS mandrel bent aluminum fitting and silicon reducer 90 and a silicon 45 fitting to make installation complete. The tubing is a large 3” diameter inlet from the Guzzler intake piped directly into the turbo. It is direct cold air from the top of the hood into the turbo. The Skinz upper structure is made to pull air from all sides and the structure offers angular and vertical sides to minimize and reduce any snow buildup. The chop of the throttle clears the snow. All parts and items needed for a complete installation are included in the hood kit.
Skinz will also offer Guzzler kits to retro fit existing hoods already being used. The kits will be offered for the N/A versions as well as the Turbo versions. Both kit options with come with everything needed to install the kit on an existing hood. (Note: The upper bag is removed for the intake kit to be installed)
